Job Materials

When you have finished entering job notes, Micronet displays the Job Materials screen. This screen displays the estimated materials to be used on the job (e.g. spare parts, oil, etc.) and allows you to enter the actual quantities used, as well as any associated notes. You can update the quantities used with the PDA’s physical keyboard or by editing the item record. You can also add items, delete items, and update the time if the job is taking longer than expected.

To view or maintain the job materials:

1. Enter any job notes required.

Refer to "Job Notes".

Micronet displays the Job Materials screen.

2. If you can't view all of the materials, you can scroll by dragging up or down on the screen.

3. If you simply want to update the item quantities used, select an item.

The quantity used always defaults to zero. When you select an item, Micronet puts the cursor in the Used field.

4. Use the PDA's physical keyboard to enter the actual quantity of the item used.

5. Repeat for other items if required.
6. If you want to:

• alter the time the job is taking, refer to "Updating the Job End Time"
• pause time tracking or resume time tracking after a break, refer to "Pausing and Resuming Time Tracking"
• add, edit or delete an item used on the job, refer to "Maintaining Items Used on a Job"
• add, edit or delete an item assembly used on the job, refer to "Maintaining Assemblies Used on a Job"
• add a buy-in item to the job, refer to "Adding a Buy-In"
• add, edit or delete a text line relating to the job, refer to "Maintaining Text".

7. To return to the Job Notes screen to add more notes, select the Notes button on the top toolbar.
8. When you have entered all the job materials and associated notes, select the Next button.
